Do you want to know why I think and know I'm special? I survived tons of hatred, bigotry, and intolerance. I paved my own way and danced to the beat of my own drum. I did not look to anyone but myself and my spirit for guidance. I did not ask or count on a God or Higher Power. I did not seek acceptance from society or what ever label I fit into today. I stand proud. I am not straight, I am not gay, I am not black or white. I am nothing but myself. I am nothing but human. If the world does not adapt to the idea that we are all one in the same. One species known as Homo sapiens will be extinct. So from now on if asked if I'm straight, or gay. I'm going to say that I'm nothing more than human and leave it at that. I urge you to adapt and evolve to this way of thinking and join a larger community, that of Humanism and the human being."
