I've always liked Chromeo. They had that funky 80's sound down 3 years ago with She's In Control. This is a new one from them. It's pushing the bounderies of my tolerance for goofiness in music though... Still a good track.

Don't get me wrong I dig the hell out of Chromeo
Don't get me wrong I dig Chromeo. Yes, it's retreaded nostalgia music - but it has its own life.
But, yeah this track is among their goofier ones.
I just have a similar reaction to this as with the name of this band Meowskers (http://www.bigcontact.com/hellthy/163170) .
It's that same feeling of seeing a band who is too "hip" for its own good. Too flippant to risk a genuine emotion. Ha.
Just because you have "cheesy" 80's keyboard sounds doesn't mean you have to see yourself as cheesy does it? I just wish they'd embrace it even more and leave behind the "Weird Al" "schtick-ness" of the operation.
