That year, tensions over race, poverty and neglect erupted in a summer of devastating riots in Harlem that spread like wildfire to other inner-city ghettos. Our story this week unfolds against this troubling historical backdrop: <strong>Ceremonies in Dark Old Men</strong> by Lonne Elder III. <br /><br />Starring Glynn Turman as Russell Parker, with Charlie Robinson, Brandon Dirden, Jason Dirden, Michole Briana White, Rocky Carroll, and Julia Pace Mitchell. Associate producers: Christina Montano and Jennifer Brooks. Stage manager: Jared Cox. Live sound effects: Kristina Sepulveda. Recording, editing, and mixing engineer: Mark Holden for The Invisible Studios, West Hollywood. Our director is Judyann Elder.</p>
