Thursday's MEGASHUFFLE outage..

*** Regarding our outage Thursday 02-12-09 - I apologize to all listeners who tried to tune in on Thursday February 12th to our music stream. All streams and for that matter everything MEGASHUFFLE (except the website) was down due to circumstances beyond my control. We had a nasty storm that knocked the power out from our broadcasting site FOR HOURS. You might of noticed that we were also going to do stream maintenance on FRIDAY 2-13-09. I took advantage of the down time to do the work to the studio that was planned during the outage. It so happens that one of the tasks of that window was to install a battery back-up. MEGA is now on a battery back-up to offset minor hiccups to power. Thursday's outage was unavoidable even if we had our new backup in place as we off for HOURS. ***
