And shine on the tomb
Where the stone was rolled away
Jesus Christ is risen today!

He’s alive! He is holy!
Jesus is immortal, He is God!
In the light of His risen body
Darkness has turned into light
Sorrow to joy, and death into life.

He first came to them
Whom He had called as friends
And offered His peace
To their tortured, guilty souls
He forgave, and made them whole.

We have been set free
No longer slaves to our sin
Through Him, glorified,
Our lives can truly begin.

And through we�ve not seen
We are blessed, who believe
For deep in His wounds
Is the love that truly heals
Rising to life, now fully revealed.
