Big Contact, among other things, is primarily an online publisher that, in one action, creates your own customizable streaming mp3 & video blog, podcast, news feed and streaming audio player - and measures the results for each means of distribution created. No longer do podcasters need to hobble together multiple services to publish their 'casts.

Big Contact focuses on the publishing of 'casts - not on the creation or the hosting of the audio media. We believe that the process of creating podcasts is best served by one of the most mature digital industries: desktop digital recording software. And we believe the same is true for media hosting. Big Contact is media-hosting agnostic which means you can host your audio files anywhere you wish.

Our other unique feature is the Feed Player: the first web-based podcast player is still the best. It is the only shareable podcast player - whereby you can share the player and your show with your listeners by letting them easily add the player to their own website or social networks like My Space. And anyone with a podcast feed can use this player immediately and have a feature-rich podcast player on their website by simply copy/pasting some html. Other features include the ability to view shownotes and links, view channel information and subscribe to your 'cast directly within the player.
